Reviews and Ratings
The hotel rooms were very standard and on the smaller side for the price; additionally, the added parking fee made the overall stay quite expensive. Despite paying extra for a balcony, higher floor, and water view, the rooms were very basic, lacking a fridge. On the bright side, they were super clean and the bathroom was well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The room I had offered a partial waterview but unfortunately also overlooked noisy heating and AC equipment on the lower level rooftop. Despite the high cost of over $350, the experience was tainted by feeling undervalued as a guest due to issues like having to constantly run in and out for valet parking.
The hotel rooms across the bay were really nice and comfortable, although there was an issue with water backing up from the sink and shower, and the lack of a refrigerator was a downside. The service, while generally good, was marred by one individual who lacked charm and was argumentative and rude during check-in. The location was excellent, catering more to families with small children, and was very convenient for our stay. The dining experience at First Take provided delicious meals with amazing views, although service could be slow. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory but no specific comments were provided.
The hotel had a beautiful view but smelled like smoke, and the bed was uncomfortable. The parking situation was inconvenient and pricey, with valet costing $32 per occurrence.
